Open Recruitment Salary Ranges:

Accountant I: Under general supervision, to perform varied accounting, auditing and statistical work in reviewing, analyzing, examining, and maintaining accounting records and in the preparation of financial reports; and to do related work as required.

Accountant II: Under general supervision, to perform varied accounting, auditing and statistical work in reviewing, analyzing, examining, and maintaining accounting records and in the preparation of financial reports; and to do related work as required. This is the fully qualified working-level calss in the series. Some posititions may supervise accounting clerical classes.

Accountant III: Under general supervision, to plan and review the work of accountants and clerical staff; to personally perform complex accounting and auditing duties; to assist in the development and implementation of computerized accounting systems and procedures; and to do related work as required.
